I’ve spent the last 10 years in finance. In 2025, I started building Contra—a new financial company focused on global payment acquiring. This is a completely different scale from anything I’ve done before. I’m excited by the reach and possibilities: our ambition is to become the payment backbone of Central & Eastern Europe.

Today, we’ve built the infrastructure, reached operational readiness, and have our first customers queued up. We’re putting on the final touches and launching what I consider the most important business project of my career.

4. Partnerships with banks, schemes, and PSPs to broaden acceptance.
